Sweet, sticky, barbecue sauce from a Chubby Stout, courtesy of BEERMKR! We set out to make a classic BBQ sauce using this totally tasty brew that we made in our own kitchen, and then paired it with some wildly-delicious low and slow ribs right off the Spark!
Season ribs very liberally with salt and pepper. Let seasoning adhere for 30 minutes.
Using a Low & Slow Briq, set Spark Grill to 275°F. Place ribs on grill and cook low and slow for 4 hours until tender!
While ribs cook, prepare barbecue sauce. Heat sauce pan over medium heat, stir in the beer ketchup, honey, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar and soy sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer and cook until sauce is reduced to a medium-thin thickness, about 30 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Brush ribs with barbecue sauce on the grill and let the sauce tack up until nice, sticky, and glazed.
