You may have heard that steak only needs salt and pepper…and while that works great, we dig a little deeper and find a lot more flavor with this concoction!
Combine salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Mix to combine.
30-60 minutes prior to grilling, liberally season all sides of steak with your rub.
Using a Quick Briq, set Spark Grill to 500°F with the heat spreader out.
Place probe in steak, and set target temp to 125°F for medium rare, 133-135°F for medium. Place steaks on grill and cook, flipping often, until internal temp is reached.
When target temp is reached, rest steak for 5 minutes before slicing and enjoying!
